The Further Education and Training Certificate: New Venture Creation, NQF Level 4 develops the knowledge and skills for a person to start, operate, manage and grow a new small to medium business venture and help with skills and knowledge to run a small business successfully.
By being exposed to a variety of technical, business managerial and personal skills and strategies in setting up and running a business (from business plans, procuring funding, managing finances and resources to strategic and operational planning), learners will develop a sound foundation to succeed in creating or maintaining a small business, venture, hustle or start up.
Key future power skills such as motivation, service orientation, critical and creative thinking and being innovative will also be addressed in the learning so that learners will be able to grow their entrepreneurial mindsets and explore a diverse range of entrepreneurial opportunities.

Upon completing this full qualification, you will be able to:

| 4: My Entrepreneurship Business & Financial Model (Making my Venture a Success!) | This is an interactive skills programme is where you will start to put your business plan into action by sourcing finance for a new venture through the effective application of costing and pricing to a new venture. |
| 5: Building the Business (Mastering Procurement, Negotiation, Motivation & Leadership) | This is an interactive skills programme where you will build your foundation to understand the concept, principles and theories of motivation in a leadership context and how to motivate and build a team.  This skills programme will also give you the skills to negotiate and to apply skills to complete tenders for your business. |
| 6: Operating the Business (Managing People & Processes that Gives Great Results) | This is an interactive skills programme where you will demonstrate an understanding and apply skills in managing the operations of your new business (administration, people or human resources, finances and production and productivity). |
