Your learning journey will be integrated and Mind-the-Gap applies:

Your learning journey will see you complete knowledge, practical skills and work experience modules.  These are integrated into programmes and will ensure that you are able to meet all the requirements for successful completion of the EISA.

The knowledge modules you will complete with us is as follows and makes up 80 credits of your learning:

• Programme 2: Scope Management
• Programme 3: Project Time/Schedule Management
• Programme 4: Project Cost Management
• Programme 5: Project Quality Management
• Programme 6: Project Human Resource Management
• Programme 7: Project Communications Management
• Programme 8: Project Risk Management
• Programme 9: Project Procurement Management
• Programme 10: Project Stakeholder Management

The practical skills modules you will complete with us is as follows and makes up 100 credits of your learning:

• Initiate a project
• Plan and develop a project management approach and scope statement
• Plan and develop a project time line and schedule
• Plan for and project the cost of a project
• Plan project management systems
• Monitor and control the scope of a project
• Control the project delivery schedules and costs
• Control the project quality
• Manage and control the human resources of a project
• Conduct and control project communication and stakeholder interaction
• Manage and control project risks
• Manage and control project procurement activities
• Manage and control project close-out activities

The work experience modules you will need to complete in an approved workplace is as follows and makes up 60 credits of your learning:

• Attend to project initiation management processes
• Attend to project planning processes
• Attend to project execution and control processes
• Attend to project close out processes

There are no part qualifications included in this programme[1].

Assessment & Certification

You will be required to complete assessments and/or collect evidence for all three learning components of the qualification.   We can also accommodate:

1. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – where you have prior experience in this occupation and wish to be recognized against this qualification.
2. Credit Accumulation Transfer (CAT) – this is the process whereby a learner’s achievements are recognised and contribute to further learning even if the learner does not achieve a qualification or part qualification[1]. So where you have achieved a relevant qualification and is relevant to this learning, you can have credits awarded through a CAT process.

Please note that for either of the above to be awarded, a screening and/or application process would need to be completed and assessed before any credits can be awarded.  Fees for these will be applicable.

To achieve the certificate you will need to successfully complete:

• Knowledge, Practical and Work Experience Modules (and issued Statement or Result (SOR) or Record for each);
• A FISA (Final Integrated Summative Assessment) – this is an internal final summative assessment that will ensure you have gained the knowledge and skills to be registered for the EISA;
• An EISA (External Integrated Summative Assessment) is the final assessment managed and conducted by the Quality Partner/Assessment Quality Partner (AQP) for all learners nationally[2]. To qualify for the EISA you must have a copy of a completed and signed SOR and Statement of Work Experience.
• For this qualification, your EISA will be an integrated assessment of the qualification outcomes and will consist of an open book knowledge assessment. The assessment will include open-ended questions based on specific case studies and scenarios[3].

If you meet all the above requirements, you will receive a national occupational certificate with QCTO.

• Statement or Results and Work Experience (where all requirements are met) for the EISA

• QCTO and AQP fees for registration, EISA and certification[4]
